Free WiFi now available in over 20 Somerston hotels
Thanks to the tireless efforts of our IT team, guests at over 20 of our hotels can now take advantage of free WiFi when they stay with us. In addition to the free access in our lounges, our guests can also now take advantage of great value premium access in our comfortable guestrooms.
We hope to offer free WiFi in every hotel in the coming months so come back soon to learn about our progress!

Holiday Inn Express has beaten off competition from the likes of Premier Inn and Travelodge to be crowned Best Budget Hotel Group at the annual Business Traveller awards.

Having fun and celebrating service
Somerston has no more valuable asset than it's people, which is why we decided to dedicate a whole week to recognising and celebrating their contribution to the business.
Each hotel and team was given the opportunity to come up with some fun activities to show just how much the team means to us and they showed their usual ingenuinity and sense of fun! Events ranged from home-cooked meals for the whole team to a pirate treasure hunt, car washing and a school-style sports day.

Gearing up for Let's Go Green Day
As a company Somerston has made a commitment to reduce the negative environmental impact of our business and to use energy more efficiently. To continue this commitment and to ensure that it remains a key focus we are delighted to announce the date of our second Let's Go Green Day will be Friday 27th August 2010.
Let's Go Green Day is an opportunity for our hotel and corporate teams to go that extra mile and make a personal contribution to us being an eco-friendly organisation. We'll be handing our prizes to those hotels which make the best endeavour to reduce energy and we'll encourage changes in the way we work, including simple changes such as switching off unnecessary lights, unplugging electrical equipment, stopping using standby and cutting our energy consumption.
We're delighted to confirm that the last of our Express hotels has now relaunched and Holiday Inn Express Bath now boasts the great new signage, landscaping, hot breakfast, pillow choice and improved service that you find at the rejuvenated brand!
You know what you want in a hotel and that's why we're making big changes at Holiday Inn Express. Our new sign is the first thing you'll notice, the biggest changes are taking place on the inside. We've improved our room experience and we're raising our service standards across the globe. We think you'll appreciate the effort!

Ideal for checking emails and browsing the web this great new facility further confirms that Holiday Inn Express is the brand of choice for great value, convenient accommodation.
Other hotels within our group where you can enjoy free WiFi are the Holiday Inn Express hotels in Hammersmith, Milton Keynes, London Luton Airport, Swindon, East Midlands Airport, Cambridge, Newport and Swansea.
